Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you ("User", "Subscriber", "you") and AU Movies & Production House ("AU Movies", "we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the website aumovies.in, the AU Movies mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Account

• You must be at least 18 years of age, or if under 18, use the Service only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Service Description

AU Movies offers a subscription-based streaming service for films, web-series, and related original content, and information about our production business. Content availability may vary by geography, plan, and device.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• Available subscription plans and their prices are listed on the /plans page and at checkout.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed by RBI-authorised Payment Aggregators including PayU and PhonePe. All transactions are secured by industry-standard PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) controls.
• AU Movies does not store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or bank credentials.
• Subscriptions may auto-renew as disclosed at checkout. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time as described in our Cancellation Policy.

4. Refunds & Cancellation

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and cancellations by our Cancellation Policy. Both documents form an integral part of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

• You must not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content on the Service without prior written permission from AU Movies.
• You must not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• You must not attempt to bypass geographic restrictions, DRM, or any other security mechanism.
• You must not share your credentials with any third party or resell any part of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Service are the property of AU Movies or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right of ownership in the content — only a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to stream the content for personal, non-commercial use for the duration of your subscription.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may include links to, or integrations with, third-party services (payment gateways, analytics providers, content delivery networks, app stores). Your use of such services is subject to their own terms; AU Movies is not responsible for third-party practices beyond its reasonable control.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AU Movies disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall AU Movies' aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid to AU Movies in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Grievance

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder.
• Courts at Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
• All grievances shall be addressed to our Grievance Officer, Nagaveni Santhosha, at support@au-movies.com (phone: +91 80885 88389). Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.

AU Movies reserves the right to modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
