Cancellation Policy

We believe you should be free to leave whenever you wish. This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel your AU Movies subscription, when the cancellation takes effect, and how auto-renewals are stopped.
1. You Can Cancel At Any Time
AU Movies subscriptions can be cancelled at any moment from your account. No cancellation fee is ever charged. You will retain access to the service until the end of the current billing cycle you have already paid for.
2. How to Cancel
- Sign in to your AU Movies account on aumovies.in or the mobile app.
- Go to Account → Subscription → Cancel Subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 24 hours.
- Alternatively, email your registered email address and Order ID to support@au-movies.com with the subject line "Cancel Subscription".
3. Auto-Renewal Stop Guarantee
The moment you cancel, we immediately submit a stop-mandate instruction to the payment gateway (PayU / PhonePe) to disable the recurring auto-debit set up on your card, UPI or wallet. From that instant onwards:
- No further amount will be debited from your payment instrument.
- You will continue to enjoy the service until the last day of the already-paid billing period.
- You will receive an email confirming the auto-renewal has been stopped, along with the effective end date of your access.
4. Cancellation After Auto-Renewal
If you were charged for a renewal within the last 7 days and you had not consumed the new billing period, you may combine cancellation with a refund request under our Refund Policy.
5. Cancellation by AU Movies
AU Movies reserves the right to suspend or cancel a subscription for the following reasons, with reasonable prior notice where possible:
- Fraudulent or chargeback activity flagged by the payment gateway.
- Sharing of credentials in violation of the Terms of Service.
- Non-compliance with applicable law or a written directive from a competent authority.
In such cases, any pro-rated amount for the unused period will be refunded to the original payment method, minus reasonable costs, in accordance with our Refund Policy.
6. Grievance & Escalation
If you face any difficulty cancelling or if auto-renewal continues after cancellation, please write to our Grievance Officer immediately at support@au-movies.com (phone: +91 80885 88389). We resolve such complaints within 15 (fifteen) days of receipt.
